From the author of Equal Protection Under God:
SEEN: A Bible study of 5 women who were deceived, raped, and disregarded yet seen by God.
Ashamed, guilty, insecure, damaged, angry, depressed, unseen, unloved, unlovable. Women who have been deceived, overlooked, treated unjustly, sexually assaulted, raped, trafficked, or otherwise disregarded felt those words, like a sword to the heart. When we experience a personal and intimate trauma, we may question where God was, whether He loves us, or whether He even cares.
God answers those questions in the stories of Old Testament women who were deceived, shamed, overlooked, treated unjustly, raped, and oppressed. This 6-week Bible study introduces you to these women whose lives mattered to God so much that He included them in His Word. Their stories are our stories. Their stories give us a view of the grace, redemption, and everlasting love available to each of us. God saw them and He sees you.
